Coping with Stress/Burnout
Many of us carry immense burdens, juggling careers, family responsibilities, and societal expectations. Stress happens when we feel overwhelmed by demands and pressures, leading to issues like headaches, tiredness, and feeling anxious or irritable. If stress goes on for too long, it can turn into burnout. Burnout can make you feel completely worn out, less productive, and less interested in things you used to enjoy. Perfectionists and people-pleasers, in particular, often grapple with self-imposed standards and struggle with complicated self-worth stemming from their childhood experiences.
Therapy offers a safe space to unpack these pressures, challenge harmful beliefs and patterns and develop coping strategies to live a more balanced life.
